Lilac Farm is also in the tenancy of the Rose Family. It is situated at the top of the village and is home to the Laxton Heritage Museum, which is in the private ownership of the family and which can be viewed by prior arrangement. Lilac Farm also offers traditional farmhouse Bed and Breakfast and has been awarded 3 stars by Visit England. The house is a 17th century listed building. The roof was updated to clay tiles in 1748. Inside the oak beams, doors and pantry remain as they were up to 400 years ago. It has a number of out buildings, but no longer has any strips associated with it. Barns on the premises are still in agricultural use.
