| School visits can be arranged for parties
of all ages. Topics can be tailored to suit National Curriculum and Key
Stage requirements. Stuart works with the trip
organiser to make sure the visit achieves its objectives. Assistance can
be given with pre-visit planning and risk assessment. Students can see
young lambs, the stages in the farming year from seed to harvest, see
the collection of historical farming tools and artefacts in the Heritage
Museum as well as seeing the film available in the Visitor Centre and
walking in the Open Fields.
An under cover space is available in case of inclement
weather and the village is now equipped with an 'outdoor classroom' in
the award winning pinfold.
Teachers considering a visit to Laxton should
telephone Stuart on 07939 228353 to discuss their requirements and
any special needs. |
